What is Secure File Storage and how do I use it?
Secure File Storage lets you protect confidential files, photos, and videos, things like passport scans, medical cards, driver's licenses, tax documents, or anything else private, right inside your Keeper vault.
Files are encrypted during upload, and you hold the encryption key. Secure File Storage is a Secure Add-on available across all your devices, including iOS, Android, Web Vault, and Desktop App.
File size limits: up to 100MB on Web Vault, and up to 5GB on Desktop App, Android, and iOS.
Uploading a file (Web Vault & Desktop App): While editing a record, click Add Attachments to upload, or drag and drop the file directly into your vault. Click Save once the upload completes.
Uploading a file (iOS & Android): Add an attachment to an existing record, or create a new record using the File Attachment record type. Tap Add Files or Photos to upload.
Viewing or downloading a file: Click the download icon next to the file within a record to View or Download it.
Sharing a file: Files can be shared the same way as any other record. Click Share within the record and enter the email address of the Keeper user you'd like to share it with.
Sync status: If you see a cloud icon with a line through it next to a file, it hasn't finished uploading to your vault's cloud storage yet, it's only stored locally on the device where you added it. File uploads require an internet connection; check your connection if a file seems stuck.
