How to Autofill Additional Fields Using KeeperFill

KeeperFill can be configured to autofill additional fields on a website beyond the standard username and password fields by using Custom Fields within your Keeper record.

Step 1: Identify the Website Field Name

First, identify the name assigned to the field you would like KeeperFill to autofill.

Navigate to the website or login page containing the field.
Right-click the field you would like to autofill.
Select Inspect.
Your browser's Developer Tools will open and highlight the HTML associated with the selected field.
Look for the name attribute assigned to the field.

For example:

name="test" type="text" maxlength="30"

In this example, the field name is test .

Step 2: Create a Custom Field in Keeper

Open the relevant record in your Keeper Vault and create a Custom Field for the additional information you would like to autofill.

Using the example above:

Custom Field Label: test
Custom Field Value: Enter the value you would like KeeperFill to autofill

Save the record once the Custom Field has been added.

KeeperFill can then use the Custom Field label to match the corresponding field on the website.

If the Field Does Not Autofill

If KeeperFill is still unable to identify or autofill the field after configuring the Custom Field, please use the Snapshot Tool available through the KeeperFill Browser Extension to report the autofill issue.

The Snapshot Tool simplifies the investigation of autofill issues by securely providing Keeper's Engineering team with the relevant website information needed to analyze KeeperFill's interaction with the page.
