Domain Reservation for SCIM and JIT Provisioning
If you plan to use SCIM or JIT provisioning alongside SSO, the target email domain must be reserved within the appropriate Keeper tenant before users can be provisioned.
For more information, please refer to our Domain reservation documentation.
Standalone Enterprise Customers
If you are a standalone Enterprise customer, a Keeper Administrator can reserve the required domain directly using Keeper Commander.
Please note that the Commander commands must be run by a Keeper Administrator.
MSP / Managed Company Customers
If you are an MSP and need to reserve a domain for a client Managed Company, domain reservation through Keeper Commander is currently unavailable.
Please contact Keeper Business Support for assistance with the domain reservation request and provide the following information:
- Managed company name
- Domain(s) to be reserved
- Email address of an active user within the target tenant.
(An active user is one that has successfully created their Keeper vault and logged in at least once)
If you are having difficulty adding a user due to domain reservation issues, you can manually create a temp user under the root node that uses master password login.
It does not need to be the same domain as the client, it can even be a personal domain such as Gmail.
Once the domain reservation is complete, you can delete the temp user.
